Restaurants in Cocoa Beach
As is in many scenic places with restaurants, the beauty of the view is in inverse proportion to the quality of the food and service. So if you decide to dine on the Cocoa Beach Pier, at the beach end of Meade Avenue, you’ll get a fine view but a mediocre meal at most of the eateries perched on the pier. The exception is Pier 62 Oceanfront Restaurant and Bar (tel. 321/783-7549), which we think has fresher food, and more professional service, than its competitors. At Jetty Park, there’s the Cove at Cape Canaveral, which offers waterfront views and plenty of dining and drinking spots. Our favorite here would be Fishlips Waterfront Bar & Grill (tel. 321/784-4533).

The diner food is, well, diner food that’s branded after space travel, like the Meteor…$Cape Canaveral
