A very popular spot with Sligo residents, Coach Lane has two dining rooms: a bar, serving easy crowd-pleasers such as burgers, fish and chips, and shepherd’s pie; and a more upmarket, gastropub-style restaurant. Most ingredients are regionally sourced, and the seafood is particularly good. Try the rich French onion soup, then dive into a hearty plate of steak and chips, or filet of cod served with samphire (a salty green vegetable that grows only by the sea) and white wine butter.
