Wexford Walking Tours

Proud of their town’s ancient streets and antique buildings, the people of Wexford began conducting guided tours for visitors more than 30 years ago. Now the tourism office runs the tours on a more formal basis, but they’re still led by locals, whose knowledge of the town and its history is unrivaled. The regular 90-minute historical tour runs March to October, Monday to Saturday, and costs €7 per person. It departs at 11am from the Tourist Office, which also handles booking. They also offer ghost tours and a walk of the surviving sections of the medieval town walls.
