If you need a break from Irish food, or just fancy something a little more adventurous, this outstanding Indian restaurant is a great choice. It’s not the most idyllic location, in a concrete-and-glass shopping mall down a rather nondescript street in Greystones, but inside the decor is bright and cheerful. And the food is truly excellent, inflecting classic Indian flavors with local accents. You might start with a plate of duck flavored with star plum gel and tangerine peel, before following on to a traditional butter chicken made with honey and fenugreek, or the succulent neelgiri jhinga—griddled shrimp spiced with carom and cilantro.
