The Ruby of Crested Butte
No detail is left to chance at this modern B&B, for my money the best in Crested Butte. Built in the 1990s and operated by Chris and Andrea Greene since 2005, the Ruby is not named for its red hue, but Andrea's late grandmother. Decorated with classic Colorado-centric antiques, rooms have one king or queen bed, and the two-story suite sleeps six. This is as pet-friendly a property as you will find, as the Greenes can arrange walks, daycare, and even “doggie spa treatments.” They collect a voluntary donation to local pet shelters in lieu of a nightly fee.
