Billed as the island's only "pop-up surf bar," this casual beach bar sets up shop under waving palms on Willemstad's Rock Beach every Friday at 5pm and shuts its weary bones down late Sunday night. It's a buzzy spot to sip a cold beer and watch the sun sink into the Caribbean. Look for live music (rock, reggae) or DJs on Friday and Saturday nights and bucket happy hours nightly. On Sunday, families roll in for the beach breakfast and lunch, and in the afternoon the grills are fired up for a beach barbecue from 4–10pm ($22 per person)—you can cook skewers of meat and seafood on your own little BBQ grill. The bar is set up on a sandy beach piled with rocks, with picnic tables and lounges and twinkling lights strung between palm trees.
