Expo Science Park
Located in the northwestern Daejeon, next to Gyeryongsan National Park, this was the site where the Daejeon Expo was held in 1993. The area has since been renovated and transformed into a science theme park. The park includes the National Science Museum, Starquest, Technopia, Earthscape, and Visions of Korea pavilions. There are also several science facilities in the complex, including the Daedeok Science Research Complex, and displays of cultural relics from Buyeo and Gongju from the Baekje Kingdom period.
