The best dishes come from the grill—thick juicy steaks, lamb cutlets, and chicken escalope, with all the trimmings—but there are also several stir-fry and vegetarian options, as well as an extensive kids’ menu. Weekend "carvery" (buffet style) roasts are hugely popular; they’re served Friday to Sunday from midday to 3:30pm. The inn also offers spacious rooms with big beds and neutral decor, but they’re a bit pricey (around £115) given the location.
