Located a bit south of town, the Hotel Roca Verde has a great setting on a protected little cove with rocks and tide pools. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms are in a two-story building beside the pool and have polished cement floors and nice hand-painted murals. Each comes with one queen-size and one single bed, or two queens, and either a balcony or a patio (but you’ll want to try for a second-floor unit if possible, as the balconies are a bit nicer). The big open-air restaurant and bar here are quite popular, serving up delicious thin-crust pizza, and featuring live music on Friday nights.
