This is a small, sustainable ecolodge set on a lovely hillside with a view of Ballena Marine National Park. Accommodations range from dorms to private cabins, all of them rustic and charming. Reforested lumber and river stones were used extensively throughout for the walls, floors, ceilings, bathrooms, walkways, and pillars. Guests gather every afternoon in the beautiful open-air common area to take in the spectacular sunsets, while a large, open-air yoga center hosts regular classes and visiting retreat groups. A trail leads down to a secluded beach, about a 10- to 15-minute walk away. The restaurant sources from local farmers and fishermen, as well as their organic garden.
