Beautifully converted into a comfortable, modern guesthouse, Ard Na Breátha sits on a working farm. Bedrooms are summery and spacious, with bright colors, polished wood floors, and antique-style iron frame beds in some rooms. Family rooms are only €20 to €40 more than standard doubles. The pleasant guest lounge has a fireplace and a little bar too. In the restaurant, evening meals are sophisticated if unashamedly traditional in style, with plenty of local and seasonal ingredients (many supplied from the guesthouse farm, of course). Prebooking for dinner is essential. The B&B is located right on the edge of Donegal Town, although the farm makes it feel quite rural, enhanced by views of the mountains in the distance.
