It's possible to see most of Dubai's key sites and attractions in 3 days, but you'll have to move quickly and somewhat strategically. If this is the amount of time you have, I want to help maximize your experience by providing a suggested itinerary. The increasing traffic in Dubai means that the most sensible way to explore the city is to focus on particular neighborhoods each day, walking when possible and taking the metro or taxis (by water and land) when necessary.

I start you with a tour of Dubai's historic area bordering each side of the creek, and then broaden your exposure to the city, making sure you have time for the beach, shopping, and trips to Dubai's modern marvels. Those staying for a week will be able to develop a greater feeling for the city and experience some of U.A.E. life outside Dubai. I'll send you on a thrilling desert safari, encourage you to visit the cultural sites of Sharjah, and suggest a trip to the mountain village of Hatta. I've also provided special itineraries for families with children and those especially interested in Dubai's architecture.
