In a side alley off Stradun, tiny Škola has just a couple of tables indoors and a couple more out front. An old-fashioned family-run business, sandwiches are all that are done here, but they’re exceptionally good ones—thick slabs of freshly baked bread filled with either local sir (cheese) or pršut (prosciutto) or both. That, and a tasty apple strudel. Most people come here for takeaway, though you’re welcome to sit and have a glass of wine or a coffee if you can find a free space.
