This is sort of a Willy Wonka factory of booze. In a brightly colored building, with a huge copper vat out front, shining in the sun, this distillery and visitor center are all about smooth Irish whiskey. It's all done in a modern factory now, but the center of production for Jameson Whiskey still holds many of the original 1825 structures, all meticulously preserved. For the truly interested, there's a film to watch in the visitor center as well as a whiskey-making demonstration, followed by a tasting after the tour.
