Erice craftspeople are as famous for their rugs as they are for their ceramics. This is basically a ceramics store, but I also found the best selection of Erice carpets here. These highly valued rugs are hand-woven, the most traditional colors being red, yellow, and blue. Sometimes the colors are broken up by even brighter hues, with both floral and geometric designs in zigzags and diamonds. There is also a good selection of Sicilian lace here.
