Housed in the W Fort Lauderdale, this playful creation of restaurant mogul Stephen Starr of Morimoto fame is tops for ambience: dark woods and bold floral silk wall panels, with the restaurant’s centerpiece being a 15-foot-long reef aquarium, home to hypnotic jellyfish. Its definitely an “it” girl, a place where locals come to see and be seen, which makes it, well, a scene. But the heart of the experience is, ultimately, the dry-aged, expertly cooked meats. If you’re a carnivore you’ll love it, though they do also have some well executed seafood dishes and a popular brunch.
