Once upon a time, no Miamian of a certain level of epicurean snobbery would ever cross into Fort Lauderdale to eat, but that was then. Just ask Timon Balloo, one of the Magic City’s most lauded chefs of Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill fame who, along with his talented wife Marissa, packed his knives and headed north to open this hot spot serving globally influenced dishes such as the refreshing burrata and arugula salad with peach dressing, or fish sauce caramel wings with radish pickles, and the slapping squid ink Carbonara with bacon gremolata and lemon zest.
