Hotels in Geneva and Northern Seneca Lake
Geneva has some of the grandest places to stay in the Finger Lakes, making it a good place to splurge. Although I'm not a fan of its bulky, suburban yellow-and-blue presence right on the north end of Seneca Lake, marring the beauty of the lakefront, the Ramada Geneva Lakefront, 41 Lakeshore Blvd., Geneva, NY 14456 (tel. 800/990-0907; www.ramada.com; 148 units; $99-$179 double), does have good views, an indoor pool, and more affordable prices than some of the chic, historic inns in town.
