Chez Ma Cousine

Visit Chez Ma Cousine for delicious Swiss-style fast food. In a happening location at the heart of the Old Town, this cheery, bright-yellow restaurant offers a great value, making it exceptionally family friendly and popular with students. No airs and graces here, just good quality, simple home cooking. The restaurant's full name is actually "Chez Ma Cousine on y Mange du Poulet" ("At my cousin's house we eat chicken") and, accordingly, there's only one dish on the menu: Grilled chicken, served with mountains of crispy sautéed Provençale-style potatoes and a salad, followed by a choice of simple tempting desserts, such as chocolate mousse or tarte tatin. Wines are served by the glass or by the bottle. Service is speedy, the restaurant doesn't take reservations. Chez Ma Cousine first opened at this location in 1999, and such is its appeal that, since then, two other branches have opened in the neighbourhoods of St-Gervais and Petit-Saconnex.
