The restaurant I like in Gillette is the Prime Rib Restaurant & Steakhouse, 1205 S. Douglas Hwy. (tel. 307/682-2944), an upscale steak and seafood place where you can get tender, slow-roasted prime rib, charbroiled filets, sautéed halibut, and shrimp scampi, among other items, as well as a wine list that's garnered acclaim from Wine Spectator. Lunch prices are in the $6-to-$12 range, and most dinner entrees cost $15 to $45. The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 10pm, Saturday from 4 to 10:30pm, and Sunday from 4 to 9:30pm.
