Things To Do in Gracias
Gracias Attractions
The Parque Central, a small tree-filled square surrounded by colonial buildings, is the most active spot in town, which isn't saying much. La Iglesia de San Marcos, on the southern side of the park, was built in the late 1800s. Beside it, you can find the remnants of the Audiencia de los Confines, now the home of the parish priest. One block to the north is Las Mercedes, the most attractive of the three colonial churches in the city. The facade dates back to 1610. The park underwent a major renovation in 2008 and 2009, and is looking better than ever.
