Inside the Park -- Grand Canyon Lodge has a dining room with a splendid view. More casual choices at the lodge include a cafeteria and a saloon that serves light meals.

Outside the Park -- Your only choices for a meal outside the park are the Kaibab Lodge (www.kaibablodge.com; tel. 928/638-2389), just north of the entrance, and the Jacob Lake Inn (www.jacoblake.com; tel. 928/643-7232), 45 miles north at the junction with U.S. 89A.
