Boasting the best view of the three dining establishments right on the South Rim, the Arizona Room is immensely popular and a favorite restaurant in the park. Its Southwestern menu is almost as creative as that of El Tovar Dining Room, featuring lots of regionally sourced artisanal foods. There is often a long wait for a table here (they don’t take reservations) so arrive early, which should assure you of getting a good table without too much of a wait. Once you finally sit down to eat, I recommend both the pan-seared salmon fillet with tomato salsa and the baby back ribs with chipotle glaze. Tip: It’s also open for lunch part of the year, giving you another great option for dining with a billion-dollar view.
