You can arrange truffle-hunting excursions through Restaurant Zigante in Livade or through any of its franchise outlets across Croatia from September to December, though October is the height of truffle season. In addition, Activatravel in Pula arranges truffle excursions in season that include a 1 1/2-hour hunt in the woods with dogs, followed by dinner in Livade.
