Good dining options are limited. You'll see numerous cafes and sandwich shops along Potomac and High streets. The food is fine, but patience is necessary on a busy day; note that a sandwich or salad can cost $7 to $10. Stop early for breakfast or wait until later in the day to eat. There are also plenty of places to stop for a drink or an ice cream -- and the wait isn't as long.
