Hotels in Hattusas

Located 50m (164 ft.) across from the access road to the site is the motel-style Asikoglu Hotel (Çarsi Mah. 9, Bogazkale; tel. 0364/452-2004; fax 0364/452-2171; www.hattusas.com), with its 33 rooms all with balconies, kitchenettes, and (weak) hair dryers for 25€. There's also a restaurant on-site.

The recently restored (2004) Hattusas Restaurant and Pension, on the main square (tel. 0364/452-2013; fax 0364/452-2957; www.hattusha.com), offers simple rooms for 12€ including breakfast. The family also owns the Hotel Baykal (same address and contact info), with double rooms for 30€. For that matter, any of the campgrounds or "pansiyons" will feed you if you're hungry -- and so will the locals, if you hang around long enough.
