Hohhot's hotel scene is developing quickly, and new options have opened in all categories. The Shangri-La is the most striking addition to Hohhot's hotels, but a league of new business hotels have also joined the fold and, at the other end of the scale, there are still plenty of cheapies near the train station where you can get a passable room with en-suite for around ¥100.
