From Incheon International Airport, you can take a limousine bus (from bus stop 7A) that stops at Gimpo International Airport, then the Dong Seoul Terminal, and then Icheon. Run by Buspia (tel. 02/575-7710), the buses run daily from 5:10am to 10pm; the whole ride takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes and costs W17,000 (W9,000 from DongSeoul). You can also get a bus bound for Icheon directly from Seoul at the Gangnam Express Bus Terminal. Buses start running daily at 6:30am and run every 30 minutes or so until 10pm. You can also take a bus from the Dong Seoul (Gangbyeon) Bus Terminal. The buses from here start daily at 6:10am and run every 15 minutes until 10:40pm. It's about an hour ride (longer on weekends with traffic) and will cost W3,600 for a standard bus and W4,200 for a deluxe bus (which has guaranteed seats and air-conditioning). If you're driving, take the Jungbu Expressway (#35) and get off at the Icheon or Seo-Icheon toll exit.
There is a long line of taxis waiting outside of Icheon Bus Terminal to take you around. Average cost to go to the kilns is about W5,000, or you may want to take one of the local buses (which will cost you about W1,000). Bus no. 14 will take you to Sindun-myeon, where the majority of the kilns are located.
There is a visitor center near the Seolbongho reservoir. They speak English and you can get excellent maps in English there.
