Brazilian Side of the Falls -- Peak season is January and February (summer holiday), July (winter break), Semana Santa (Holy Week, the week before Easter Sunday), and all long weekends. Rates are often substantially discounted in the off season. Foz do Iguaçu is the main town for accommodations, a somewhat seedier version of its Argentine equivalent.
