Rush St. (tel. 800/CONRADS or 312/645-1500; www.conradchicago.com), which took over the property that was once Le Meridian in 2006. The Conrad offers swanky amenities like 500-thread-count sheets and Molton Brown bath products, as well as WiFi access, plasma TVs, iPod docking stations, and cotton candy for antsy kids upon check-in.
