Við Pollinn

Despite its chic interior—a four-tiered wooden ceiling, panoramic windows facing the harbor, and light wood floors—the Hotel Ísafjörður’s menu is quite ho-hum. There are a couple of high points, like spiced cod with creamed barley or the hard to fail in Ísafjörður fish of the day, but the rest of the menu is made up with things like a chicken burger and steak sandwich. Keep your expectations low and you might enjoy it.
