The beaches of Isla Ixtapa are lined with combination restaurant/snorkeling gear–rental shops, but the crowds are biggest at Lili's for a reason. The fish is tremendously fresh, the homemade tortillas come piping hot to the table, and the service is downright sweet—sit at waiter Ernesto’s table and you’ll see what I mean. Anything grilled to order will be pleasing, but if you want something a bit more complex, try the excellent garlic shrimp or the fish Veracruz, which comes under a tasty blanket of tomatoes, peas, and green peppers.
