Hotels in Katavi, Mahale and Gombe National Parks

The far west has been a huge growth area in terms of tourist facilities over recent years, though the emphasis is firmly on small, exclusive, and rather costly tented camps rather than midrange package hotels and lodges. There's plenty of accommodation in Kigoma, but only one hotel that could be described as tourist class. Gombe Stream has only one tented camp, whereas Mahale and Katavi boast two and three, respectively.
