Ocean Key Resort & Spa

You can’t beat the location of this 100-room resort, at the foot of Mallory Square, the epicenter of the sunset ritual. Ocean Key also features a Gulf-side heated pool and the lively Sunset Pier, where guests can wind down with cocktails and live music. Guest rooms start at a generous 300-square feet, and go up from there,  and have views of the Gulf, the harbor, or Mallory Square and Duval Street. The property is adorned in classic Key West decor, from the tile floors to lots of aqua, with deep soaking tubs and high quality mattresses. The Indonesian-inspired SpaTerre is perhaps the best in town. The resort’s restaurant, Hot Tin Roof, is one of Key West’s finest, serving what they call “conch fusion” cuisine. The Liquid Lounge is a VIP pool lounge with nightclub-style bottle service and music. Downside to staying here? The ridic $56 resort fee, which, shockingly, does not cover parking, though it does get you a welcome cocktail.
