Temple of an-Nadura
Between the town and the Bagawat cemetery, this 2nd-century temple-cum-fortress looms over the road and is impossible to miss. Inside, there are still some faded hieroglyphs to be seen, but the main reason to climb up here would be the view of the oasis and, if you don't mind trudging back down in the dark, the sunset.
