Campgrounds

Along Ore. 140 between Klamath Falls and Medford are several national forest campgrounds. On Fish Lake, Fish Lake Campground and Doe Point Campground have nice locations, but they both get a lot of traffic noise. Just west of Fish Lake on Forest Service Road 37, the North Fork Campground provides a quieter setting on a trout stream and a scenic mountain-bike trail. Sunset Campground and Aspen Point Campground on Lake of the Woods are popular in summer with the boating, fishing, and water-skiing crowd. The latter campground is near Great Meadow Recreation Area, has a swimming beach, and is right on the High Lakes mountain-bike trail.
