Americana Hotel
This Americana was updated in the winter of 2013-2014 and is better than ever today. Guests rave about the friendly service, the varied (and scrumptious) breakfasts and the care that's been taken with the rooms. These come in a variety of sizes from single rooms to family suites, but all are done in cheery fashion, with heavy floral drapes, tile floors and comfortable beds swathed in red comforters. Many come with double-sized showers, a fun perk. Front-facing rooms can be blindingly sunny, but the curtains and shutters, when used in tandem, effectively shade the room. The owner is American (hence the name) and she and her staff can arrange airport transfer and a lot more.
