Kos Aktis Art Hotel
This hotel, set right by the harbor was one of the 1960s-era Xenia hotels—state hotels erected in the best locations throughout Greece. It has been updated, of course, and today grants guests all the modern amenities, including a gym, cafe/bar/restaurant, and Wi-Fi. Rooms are done in soothing neutral tones and dark woods; each has a balcony. Special kudos to one of the friendliest, most helpful staffs in all of Greece.
