Beneath a sign dated 1792, this gourmet fixture on the market square is known for its signature recipes, often game marinated in an extravagant fruit-based sauce. Curiosities among the soups and starters include shark in Parma ham with citrus sauce, and cappuccino cream of artichoke. We're particular fans of the crayfish stew. All is served in what may be one of the prettiest dining rooms in all of Europe, rooms with beamed ceilings, heritage-style furnishings, pretty sconces everywhere (for a twinkling glow at night) and huge vases of fresh flowers. This is the place to head if you have something to celebrate.
