In Stehekin

The dining options in Stehekin are slim, and if you plan to stay in a cabin or camp out, be sure to bring all the food you'll need. Otherwise, simple meals are available at Stehekin Landing Resort (tel. 509/682-4494; www.stehekinlanding.com), which is right at the ferry landing in Stehekin. Note that during the winter, the restaurant here is open for three meals a day only on weekends; weekdays, only lunch is available. When you just must have something sweet, you're in luck; the Stehekin Pastry Company (tel. 509/682-4677), just 2 miles up valley from the boat landing, serves pastries and ice cream, as well as pizza and espresso.
