Pedasi -- When it opens in late 2008, the Pedasi Sports Club (tel. 995-2894) will be the most upscale lodging option in Pedasi. They plan to have eight cabins and two suites, all with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Cabins cost $50 (£25) per night with suites going for $100 (£50). The hotel is run in conjunction with the Dive-N-Fish operation in Pedasi, so there are a variety of activities offered.

Luxury Lodging in Los Destiladores -- Los Destiladores is a tiny hamlet about a 5-minute drive from Pedasí. Its two fine resorts offer travelers the most upscale accommodations on the Azuero Peninsula. The beach here is also the best in the area -- with the exception of Playa Venado, which has its own deluxe B&B. A taxi to town from here costs $5 (£2.50).
