Located next door to the City Art Gallery, this is one of the largest sculpture galleries in Europe. The institute is named after the greatest British sculptor of the 20th century, Henry Moore (1898-1986), who was a Yorkshireman. Three galleries of changing exhibitions display the various aspects of sculpture. The works of many of Moore's contemporaries are often displayed. Lectures throughout the year supplement the institute's exhibitions.
