Restaurants in Linosa

With a popular restaurant and separate bar in front of the port, Errera (Via Scalo Vecchio 1; tel. 0922/972041; entrees from 10€) has practically cornered the market on Linosan dining. Quality remains high, and the family-run kitchen turns out excellent zuppa di lenticchie (lentil soup, an island specialty) and Sicilian standards like spaghetti ai ricci (with a delicate sea urchin sauce) and simply grilled fish. In addition to Errera, a few other casual snack/pizzerias round out the scene.

The Linosan spot to hang out at is Dammuso Wine Bar, Via Re Umberto 10 (tel. 0922/972195), open daily from 10am to 2am in summer, although Bar Errera gets its share of the happy-hour crowd, who sit under an awning to watch the sunset.
