In Hallormsstaðaskógur, the Fosshótel Hallormsstaður off Route 931 has a summer-only restaurant, and the Shell gas station has seating space and serves burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches. Kárahnjúkar Dam has a small cafe open from 11am to 8pm daily, but serves only drinks, candy, and packaged sandwiches. For Snæfell, all food must be brought in.
