A strong choice for those with Hyatt membership considerations, it’s a 2-min. walk from the back door of Selfridges’ department store, and many rooms recently received smart renovations with completely fresh bathrooms (robot toilets!) and truly well-selected art. Ten years ago, this circa-1970 building was a bit tired, but Hyatt has put the property on its front burner with millions of pounds in investment. Now it offers everything a five-star should, like all-night room service, and even if the location is a little off the main, it’s still near the Tube, unquestionably comfortable, and run with snap for such a large place.
