Darwin Brasserie
The scene: The atrium (pictured above) atop the “Walkie-Talkie”, which welcomed its 10 millionth visit in 2023, is like an upscale mini-mall of evening pursuits, including thump-thump-thump beats at Sky Pod bar and a seafood place, Fenchurch. Our choice, Darwin, has an honest menu (lamb, chicken, pork, fish) on an elevated floor where some of the horizon may be obscured by the tower’s drooping-eyelid roofline, but it’s still pretty. (Soak in the panorama from elsewhere in the atrium after dinner.) The view: the Tower of London, the Thames, the Shard, and beyond.
