Planning a trip to Lourmarin

Getting There -- Buses to and from the nearest transport hub of Pertuis are infrequent. If you're driving, Lourmarin is on the D943 if you're coming from Apt.

Visitor Information -- The Office de Tourisme is at 21 Rue Henri de Savornin (tel. 04-90-68-10-77). The tourist office organizes literary walks that trace the steps of two of Lourmarin's illustrious former residents, writers Albert Camus and Henri Bosco, both of whom are buried there.

Special Events -- The Chateau de Lourmarin is the magical setting for the Festival Musiques d'Eté, when classic concerts and jazz performances are held in the grounds from June to August (tel. 04-90-68-15-23).
