Au 14 Fevrier
Celebrated chef Tsuyoshi Arai has gone from strength to strength with his Valentine-inspired dining concept. Around the corner from his old restaurant, his new Vieux Lyon establishment wows diners with its contemporary furnishings and Raymond Peynet romantic drawings. The eight-course dinner menu is a feat of trompe-l’oeil Franco-Japanese cuisine served either with wines by the glass or with Alain Milliat’s wonderful juices. Arai also runs a sister restaurant in Beaujolais, the aptly named Saint-Amour Bellevue (tel. 03-85-37-11-45).
