Serving as a bastion of civility in a sea of rock 'n' roll and disco chaos, this club was converted from an 1800s grocer. Over the past 2 decades, it has been presenting chamber music concerts nightly at 11:30pm, with an additional show at 1am Friday to Sunday, in cooperation with the Royal Music Conservatory. The club offers the prospect of a tranquil, cultural evening on the town, at a moderate price. They take performances here seriously -- late arrivals may not be seated for concerts. It is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 8pm to 3:30am, Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 4am.
