In a prime location just outside Plaza Mayor, this boutique hostel is a favorite with young travelers—not least because of its rooftop bar where the vibes are immaculate. The Hat offers a range of mixed and female-only dorms with bunk beds, as well as double rooms and suites with private bathrooms, some with balconies facing the street. The design is clean and minimalist, with white walls and custom-made pine beds and bunks. Staff are happy to help with additional services including bike hire and self-service laundry. A buffet breakfast, served until 10:30am, costs an additional 6€.
